RKT is a form of Reggaetón that emerged in the early 2010s. It is characterized by minimalistic, rhythm-centric production heavily influenced by Cumbia villera and other Cumbia argentina styles. RKT mixes Cumbia triplets into reggaetón's typical dembow, usually featuring prominent basslines as well.
