it's pretty good, I actually haven't heard their earlier work yet. But Payola is pretty good, aside from a few tracks

it would be unfair to take all of the credit, but it is pretty brilliant isn't it? haha

Interesting! I think Attack on Memory is better across the board, but my opinion probably isn't worth much as I've only listened to Here and Nowhere Else once. The lyrics didn't strike me as particularly amazing or even better than those on AoM (there seemed to be a lot of repeated lyrics which got on my nerves a bit), but I'll listen more and see if my opinion changes.

Oh, I had already gotten it not soon after a link was posted, but thanks so much for letting me know! What do you think of it? It's not as strong as Attack on Memory in my opinion, but it's certainly good. You have great taste too, by the way! ^__^

holy crap that's insane... AJJ is kinda out there but wow ahha. People can get crazy. I've never really been exposed to that because of the bands I've seen... I guess Arctic Monkeys was the craziest.

haha oh okay, I get you. I used to kinda be like that which is why I guess I have so many artists in my library. I love ajj! oh man polar opposites haha 16 year old me was really annoying about "indie" (still am but whatever)

Ahh I know how you feel, haha. Don't be frustrated! I think it all depends on your mood when you're listening. That is definitely a great song though! Weezer is great. It's killing me that I can't see them this summer when they'll be so close :(

Haha, well I'm glad you saw the light. Pinkerton is musically better but I'm not one to judge. I feel like it has a lot of raw emotion but hey, Weezer is just a great band overall. SFTBH is def interesting hah.

Hey thanks for adding back! I think it's perfectly fine if you prefer the blue album over Pinkerton haha

What should I listen to Gregory Michael? Also, haha, I think you have to do Grizzly Bear some justice and listen to their tracks.

Well see, I think it's your concern of the emo revival that brought me here. Unless that's a quote or something. And yes, Problems rule

Thanks man, likewise! I'll also steal some stuff from your library, I always lurk when I get a positive comment about my taste in music! Oh and those two Get Up Kids records... they're the absolute best. So many people shit on their latest releases and fail to realize that they're not the same band they were fifteen years ago. And (like us) most of these people weren't even ten years old when they played that sound, so all that bitching seems ridiculous to me. I just enjoy those old records and don't even mention the ones that bore me, ha!

Sorry it took me an e-eternity to reply re Hellogoodbye. It's a flawless album, pop record perfection. We also have things in common, the red bar says so!

I think I called it 'glorious' in the Streetlight shoutbox the day it leaked. I stand by it. It's a lot better than I expected, considering both 99 Songs of Revolution Vol 1 and Toh Kay's Streetlight Lullabies, which in my opinion were not nearly as good as their previous material. I haven't listened to Toh Kay's version as much yet, so I can't say much more than that it sounds very decent.
