Your compatibility with ShotgunTabasco is Medium. You both listen to Elvis Presley, Loretta Lynn and George Jones. Our current Medium compatibility is very countryfied. Past like 10 days since Beyoncé released her Cowboy Carter LP I have been playing so much Country again lol. If I become a country stan blame Queen 🐝

About time it got back to medium, I suppose. ;) I think I'll just stick to some classic country instead. Never was a big fan of Beyoncé, but props for making an album with instruments.

Usually for me Country was mostly exclusivey 40s-70s + George Strait. This past week getting again into country I realised I really love the 80s-00s Neo-Traditionalist Country Style. Been playing so many artsits from that style or AOR sounding country also.

Looking forward to improving in life. It's been that way so far. So I project upward. I believe the same for you and, itrinsically, for everyone. We learn the more we live. With the greatest reward of learning being teaching. You're not finished until you return to Christ and mentor others.

Hey, man! Thanks for stopping by. :) Yeah, I quite like it. There's some pretty good tracks on it. "Rain on the Graves" is my favourite. I'm glad it's shorter than Maiden's albums, even though I still struggle to get past the last two tracks. I also prefer it over the new Priest album. ;) What about you?

Eleven-The-End
Oh ok. I really binge listened to them once I discovered them from your profile, and I am sure I will keep on listening every once in a while, they're really awesome, my favorite is the first 3 albums and Violent Restitution, so the Sheepdog era, but yeah this is really my type of Speed / Thrash metal, the high note screams of Sheepdog are to die for. :) \m/

Since 2019, I have 59 scrobbles... :P I just don't listen that much to metal as I used to do, as in it used to be the only thing I listened to, more or less. I especially grew a bit tired of thrash metal, as it is the subgenre that evolved the least. I've explored metal enough, and there's so many other great genres to dive into.
Actions
-
Eleven-The-End
Oh ok. Yeah I completely understand. For me it was the other way around, prog rock was all I used to listen to, most of my life up to my mid 20s I was not even into metal (only like classic heavy metal, and progressive metal, and prog rock, art rock, electronic ambient or jazz fusion, classic rock, psychedelic etc.) So I was exploring more of extreme metal in the last 10 years and still now, a lot of metal music I feel I haven't discovered yet.

Bro EVIL INVADERS is right now I can already say in my top 5 Thrash metal albums ever. I am so fucking happy that I found this band via you! Very grateful bro. Rock on! \m/ Yes, but it is in your top 3 bands on last.fm and with 6666 scrobbles - how could I NOT Check them out?! :)
Actions
-
Eleven-The-End
Yes I also LOVED that Shotgun Justice album. But holy crap man, the song The Marshall Arts from ''Violent Restitution'' is probably the longest scream I've heard in Thrash metal music (pretty sure it's 28 seconds long) and it's an inhale scream, so those are my favorite! I've a feeling I will be doing marathons of this band a lot these coming days!
Actions
-
ShotgunTabasco
"Violent Restitution" definitely is a monster album. :) Go nuts! Keep an open mind when listening to "Decibels". It has some great riffs, it's just a bit different. They won't be in the top 3 for long, though. Good old Frank will climb up to the top at some point. If you want something else, try listening to the song Shadows of Existence by Laceration.

Hey there, thanks for stopping by. :) I randomly ended up at that number, and just sort of stopped. I listened to it a lot when I was an angry teenager. Many years have passed, and now it's just a bit of nostalgia. :) Their early albums have more of a speed metal vibe, and from "Violent Restitution", it's a bit more hardcore thrash. Sounds great with your journey into old thrash metal. :)

I am listening to Morbid Saint's ''Spectrum of Death'' and to be honest - I would consider this death metal record, at the very least Death Thrash metal, the riffs are even like death metal, and the vocals are not too different from the death growls, it's not that different than Possessed Seven churches, or Altars of Madness from Morbid Angel, but I really actually love the death / thrash a lot too, especially with Kreator first album and Sodom early stuff, first 2 Sepultura albums, and Sarcofago, all could be described as death thrash or black thrash metal.

I'm more or less on the same page as you when it comes to death metal, although I can't say I am fond of any incarnation of CC. You could also check a band like Assorted Heap if you want more death/thrash.

Concert was amazing. Started off rough cause we went up in the crowd and tried to get to the front and this guy passed out like 2 songs in. someone snatched Knothead’s water and gave it to that man. We retreated from the crowd then. They had to get that guy out and the ambulance took him away but the rest was really good and then to top it all off the sound guy gave me the setlist so I might laminate that.

Hey, sorry for the late response - I finally remembered to give it a go. The track that came out on top for me was probably 'Gods and Punks'. It certainly is getting along in years, yes. Just like myself, I guess. ;) Yeah, I started listening to them before "Reise, Reise" came out, and they were my absolute favourites. But I've listened through their music to death. Occasionally I get a little need for nostalgia and I pick a few tracks up. Ohhh cool.
