Hi! So far I like it but to be completely honest, it hasn't completely clicked for me. I liked 공중도덕 the record that came out in 2015 so much, it was sonically life changing for me; some beautiful textures on that record. This one is a bit less accessible so I might end up liking it more. There's so much going on during certain points but I love how dreamy this record is in comparison to the other. How about you? What are your thoughts and favorite moments? Thanks for posting on my shoutbox, this is definitely going to encourage me to listen to it more and digest it more thoroughly.

I agree, they're very visceral, provide a good counterpoint to the rest of the instrumentation. About halfway through the second track is my favorite on the whole album; so beautiful.

Found you on Vinyl Scrobbler. You have an excellent music history (and present) to explore. Thanks!

Isn't it crazy how we are introduced to people sporadically through means such as vinylscrobbler? I'm thankful it led you to my shoutbox, your profile is also a gem, I'm going to do some exploring myself. Thanks for this shout, it made my day. Feel free to send recs through here if it feels right, I'll do the same!

music hits you when it hits you know ? i used to not 'get' MBV at all -- loveless just really clicked last year for me ,, and isn't anything more this year. i think it is about getting to a particular place in life and matching with the frequency. the songs from isn't anything that gravitated to me first were "I Can See It [But I Can't Feel It]" and "You Never Should" ,,, putting those songs on heavy rotation primed me for the rest of the album , might be my favorite from them ~

slowdive's frontman speaking on why isn't anything is his favorite MBV album (and one of his favorites period) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTmZibf0xHc

I have seen them live one time, in São Paulo! (Ironic enough, they are from the area of Sweden where I live, but they never play here :( ) Oh fine fine, trying to define my life. what about you?

lucky! and that's also a shame they don't play by you. And weirdly enough ditto, I'm trying to define my life too. Or at least figure out what the fuck my purpose is here. Sometimes I feel as though those who take time defining themselves or understanding their purpose are born into a blessing and a curse. The eventual understanding of one's life makes life worth living, but the process of getting there is a great challenge.

Yeah, I actually I still don´t understand what´s up with the Swedes, their bands never play here. I am going to see Fever Ray in March, but seriously, it´s the only attendable concert in ages here! I see myself in your message about defining ourselves: "a blessing and a curse" (yes!).

I found it to be sweet at parts some nice moments. But nothing to crazy. Just one of those cozy listens. https://youtu.be/T-3NhI6VOuo
