Twilightsynth was a name given to the music stylings of Brazilian producer/composer Windows 96 by a select few fans and YouTube commenters to describe the heavily vaporwave / synthwave inspired style of his music, even though it fell in the "twilight zone" between the two distinct genres. Over the past few years, new artists have started to emerge, making tunes very inspired by the music of Windows 96 in hopes to turn Twilightsynth into a legitimate sub-genre of Electronica . Such artists as Gavriel, Sonavision Deluxe, Komit, Nanonovo, and others have started to push the popularity of Twilightsynth upwards as a natural movement begins to give rise.
