The one Voïvod album that got me into them after way too many years of being aware of them. After having listened to all of their old and classic albums, I couldn't have hit it off with a better album than this one. This is the one which cemented my interest in this band. The downside to it was that none of their other albums reached this level to my ears, except "War And Pain" because it's an entirely different spectrum of thrash compared to this.

Awesome masterpiece. This, Killing Technology and Nothingface are the golden trio of Voivod with also an obviously interesting and great discography. Voivod are a once in a lifetime band and I love that they have put out so much albums too check in. Some may say the other stuff doesn't compare to this or the other 2 already mentioned but I'm glad they put as much stuff as they do. War and Pain and Rrröööaaarrr are raw as hell and the following albums to Nothingface are great expansions to that sound. The new stuff also sounds great, Chewey's doing an awesome fucking job.

Easily, this is one of Voivod's best offerings. I can't believe I started scrobbling it this year. Their cover of the Batman theme song is the best. On an older Last.fm account I had, I remember I scrobbled it a lot.

Yeah this is a masterpiece, and it was a real mind-blower for me when I first heard it. Definitely opened me up to listening to more Progressive and Avantgarde types of stuff. I'd probably say it's the best Voivod record if I had to pick one.

Honestly, very underwhelming given its legacy in certain circles. Tribal Convictions is amazing, but the rest just isn't nearly as engaging as neither Nothingface nor Killing Technology. May have to revisit this without the context of when it was released.

One of the great metal records of all time and definitely my favorite from Voivod (and they released several greats). Completely agree with Neonbeast's sentiment--Piggy's dissonant style is at its best here. That guy was just playing somewhere out on a different planet. He'll be missed a lot.
