There are multiple artists with this name:

1) Samsa is a Queens based lo-fi desi rapper who rapidly gained SoundCloud followers all throughout the year of 2017. His works such as “Tinder Samurai” and “Anthropocene” are some of his most popular songs, racking up hundreds of thousands of plays. Sadly, on December 17th 2017, Samsa’s record label “Off The Jump” announced his departure from the label and also his retirement from music. “My heart hasn’t been in it for a while and I owe it to you to say goodbye.” Samsa said in one of his final tweets. Samsa’s songs still rack up plays on SoundCloud to this day. While he might be gone, it is very clear that he and his music will continue to be loved by many.

2) Samsa is a dark ambient solo project formed by Nathan Larson (born in Duluth, MN, United States), also known under the names Bunk Data and Royal Obtuse. Nathan was one of the co-founders of the Green House Music label that released a wide variety of atmospheric and ambient music on CD from 1999-2002. In late 2002 Nathan created the Dark Winter netlabel with a focus on dark ambient music. Besides his work with Dark Winter, Nathan is co-curating the Wandering Ear netlabel with Mike Hallenbeck. Watch for a third net.label founded by Nathan called Rotten Crab early 2007.

3) Samsa is a 3-piece band from Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK. They've put out several limited 7" singles and featured on various label compilations including Dance To The Radio's "What We All Want' album. They've shared stages with Forward Russia, iLiKETRAiNS, Duels, The Duke Spirit, The Young Knives, Pigeon Detectives, The Holloways and many more. They've been championed by the likes of Steve Lamaqc (who made First, The Lights his unsigned choice of the week), Claire Sturgess on XFM, and recieved emphatic press nationwide. Since John Peel championed one of their first demos shortly before his untimely departure, the band who began their exploits in the heart of native Cumbria, have become a formidable element of the live scene in Leeds, as well as being regulars at London's Club Fandango. They're currently working with producers Bruno Ellingham (Merz, New Order, Goldfrapp) and James Kenosha (Duels, This Et Al, Grammatics) on new songs. A new EP is scheduled for release in September 2008.
