Two months later and I can't stop listening. I'm tempted to hit that last.fm love button for every song on this album.

"Former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy named Second Life Syndrome one of his favourite albums of 2005." ---Good enough for me!

Seems like today's Opeth get HUGE inspiration from these Polish guys. Duda's haunting voice fits the wound-sounding guitars magnificently on this album. Outstanding and wonderfully emotional it is! I'm really IN Riverside already, though I've just heard only THIS and Anno Domini

@deftonico You're fucking kidding, right? Riverside are PLAINLY better. All their albums show it, but the two in particular ar ADHD and Out of Myself.

@deftonico Ummm... No. Tool isn't even close. Fuck Tool. On a different note, this album is amazing.

A simple method for putting anathema & porcupine tree in a bowl and listening to the impressive bubbling is listening to Riverside(but it's easier than those masters)...it's a easy listenig band but i love it very much.

OK, after one listen, I'm impressed. No, actually amazed would be a better word. Excellent musicianship, expressive vocals, and superb (if somewhat melancholy) lyrics. It seems pretty much perfect. Looks like I have a new favorite band! =)
