Galina Vicheva Gencheva (Bulgarian: Галина Вичева Генчева) known professionally as Galena (Bulgarian: Галена), is a Bulgarian pop-folk singer. Galena was born May 21, 1985 in the village of Smyadovo, Bulgaria. She has studied folk singing at the music school of Shumen for 4 years. Two years after that she moved town and continued her music education in Dimitrovgrad. Galena was discovered by the singer Milko Kalaydzhiev. She started her career under the stage name Galya (Bulgarian: Галя) and recorded her first single "Можеш ли" (lit. Can You?) in 2004.
In February 2008, Galena was engaged to her boyfriend Galin. On June 22, 2009 they had their first child, Stefan. On February 17, 2017 they welcomed a second son - Aleksandar.
2.Okja Lee (Professionaly known as Galena) (born February 14, 1982 in Daejeon, South Korea) is a Korean pop singer. She took the name "Galena" from the natural mineral form of lead sulfide with the same name. Galena became her career in 1997 when she was 15.
She released her debut single "Love It" which peaked at number 74 in the Korean music charts. The single was sold in two versions: In 2000 she released her second single "Love Story" which was a radio single. It peaked at number 90 in the Korean radio charts. A third single "It Feels Good" was released lately in 2001.
