DREAMCAST SUMMER SONGS was originally released on the 10th of February, 2011 under the name "Since I Left You II" as a tribute to The Avalanches' instrumental album and has become a very interesting version of pre-vaporwave. Which as JPEGMAFIA said "i don’t really think I did? I think people say that cuz some old beats from 07 and whatnot sound kinda like that. But it’s a coincidence fr." It was originally released beforehand in 2009 under Devon's MySpace page without a cover titled "devon's tape".

Recorded from 2007-2009

Commonly mistaken for being released before that due to the bandcamp upload of the album stating 2009, which is incorrect and just the date it had been produced.

description from the bandcamp page:
*Instrumental Album*

All Tracks Produced By Devon Hendryx "The Rockwood Escape Plan"

PRODUCED FROM 2007 - 2009 . Inspired By Sega's Dreamcast…DC..I love you baby. We have so much in common. We are both ahead our time, misunderstood & ignored……I hope you enjoy this and remember the good times we had. Rest in paradise Dreamcast…
