mostrei essa musica pra minha mãe com a tradução e perguntei "essa música tu acha que é sobre mulher ou sobre droga?" e ela disse que se fosse pra mulher o nome da dita cuja seria ~~maria joana~~

I find it funny it is called the weakest song on the album, when there's no weak songs on this album. Dave backing Martin works amazing. And the instrumental, masterpiece.

I'm in agreement. For me, Blue Dress is without question the weakest song on an album with NO weak tracks!

No I'll admit, you're completely right. I do regret that list now. I would certainly list If You Want higher up now. I don't know why it took me a long time to appreciate it, maybe it's that one synth part. Sounds a little goofy, but the rest of the song is very dark, pretty much the sound they would build on for Black Celebration.

I graduated high school in 2000 and put "I stop and I stare too much, afraid that I care too much" as my senior quote in the yearbook. I also briefly used "SweetstPrfectn" as my AIM name. I feel like I could have quoted something better, but I guess I could have done worse too.

I think lyrically Depeche Mode falls into the Sting category, where the things said are only not extremely creepy within the context of the song. Tale away the music, and its the kind of stuff you say to someone tied to a chair.

I'll agree about the lyrics, but it's a great song from a great album. The first album I bought when I was 12. Well, the first nonChristian album .. as mother'd decided that letting me have nonchristian albums would be ok. I guess she somehow missed the Personal Jesus song lol.

....music is good but the lyrics are cringe-worthy and too rhymey for the sake of rhyming.
