Mexican composer who described the everyday mexican society in his satirical songs. He used to compose for mariachi.

Considered to be Mexico City's musical chronicle composer, Don Chava Flores was born in the Merced neighborhood on January 14, 1920. RCA Victor recorded "La tertulia" and "Dos horas de balazos", two songs of his that marked the beginning of what would be 13 hits in the same year in Mexico. Five of his songs placed first among 10 lists in the United States of América. He died of cancer on August 5, 1987.
