Feels like they were going for a moody, more post-punk like vibe here than with their debut album if you happen to be into that. Kicks off well with the starting 3 tracks (Nightmares and Transfer Affection are some of the most emotional material they've written), but towards the middle the songs start to lose that gloomy feel & become somewhat more repetitive. I feel like their first album's a bit more consistently polished, but I still love how experimental this is and find myself coming back to it quite a bit Wishing, Nightmares, Transfer Affection, and (It's not Me) Talking are the main attractions imo (personally enjoy The Traveler & Over the Border a lot too)
