Description

‘Sí Solo Sí’ aims to strengthen multiculturalism by bringing conscious hiphop lovers together; we relish the challenge of building up respect, creativity and independent thinking in society, especially among young people.
This underground monthly session was born in December 2010 at The Bowery in Central London. Since then, performers have repeatedly demonstrated their outstanding skills, using words, beats and spray cans in the quest to inspire others by means of spreading their political and social messages.
This is ‘street journalism’ to the max (Thanks Mr Abdul Rahman).
A repeated cry for equality in the midst of this unjust, money-grabbing and ultimately dangerous process of globalization. A true family of Mc´s, Dj´s and Graffiti artists from across the globe keep making ‘Sí Solo Sí’ what it is: a great celebration of multiculturalism.

Everyone involved welcomes these jam sessions like a breath of fresh air; it gives them space to mix together their different backgrounds, cultures and nationalities, share their talents, respect one another and have a great time.

UK, Spain, France, Portugal, Jamaica, Trinidad, Cameroon, India and many other countries have been represented at these events, and hundreds of people have enjoyed groundbreakingly innovative and off-the-wall live performances.

New tracks and collaborations have been made in different languages, providing society with an excellent example of how rich and important multiculturalism is nowadays.
