THis is a great album, I wish their 70s stuff got more recognition. This, Surf's Up, Holland, Love You, and LA Album are all amazing honestly

starting to think the 1970 UK edition is the best version of the album...anyone else?

Amazing album, one of their best, and most Beach boys fans don't know anything about it.

more psychedelic than Pet Sounds. if it had been released three years earlier it would've been much better received. now I like it cause it such a sweet collection of rather obsucre BBoys songs.

I'd be really interested in knowing the personnel on this record. If the band played most of the instruments I'd be really impressed. A complex record

My favorite The Beach Boys record, also. Bruce Johnston and Dennis Wilson did a great job on this one.

How this album was the Beach Boys' worst charting at the time is beyond me. In my analysis of the songs only two I wasn't able to give 5 stars. That's a better rating than I gave Pet Sounds. I follow this down to personal enjoyment. It's certainly not the Beach Boys most popular work, but I'm happy this stuff hasn't been overplayed. It just made it that much more exciting to find it myself. If you couldn't tell already this album has some of my favorite songs. Pretty much everything is a highlight as any weaker tracks (and that's a short list) would still be a marvel for most groups. 5/5
