This is so very typical of Paul Desmond. If you are a sax player you can't help but admire the beautiful airy tone that he has. He is very economical with his notes, yet they convey such a soft and sophisticated message. There is a dreamyness to all his playing and this displays it very well. Unmatched quality and tecnique, a true artist of the first order.
