most people come here for The Pretender and Long Road To Ruin, but I think the album greatest strength lies on the second side. Stranger Things Have Happened, Statues and But Honestly are great songs, and that finale with Home is just perfect. overall one of their best imo

From the first song, album gradually degrades from being above average to total mediocrity

i'm probably biased because i've been listening to this Foo's album the longest and it's got a shit-tonne of good memories attached to it, but this album is fucking sweet. Definitely the best Foo's for me

For me, 'But, Honestly' and 'Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners' are the only ones worth listening to. I have no idea why, but this one, unlike all their others, just doesn't do it for me :/

Yeah this is the fucking best, I'm inclined to think that those who argue that it isn't very good are clouded in sentiment and nostalgia for the older stuff, the same people who don't appreciate the ways in which bands develop and grow, and expect them to put out the same thing over and over again. This is the album In Your Honor shoulda been.

"Wasting Light is definitely a great rock album, but it feels a bit one-dimensional for me, especially next to this." I kind of agree, Wasting Light needed more variety.
