“STARS” stands tall as the introduction of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s VULTURES series, bearing striking similarity to the opener of Ye’s seventh studio album, “Ultralight Beam.” The track initially appeared on a VULTURES tracklist during the summer of 2023 as “In The Stars,” when the album was titled Bad Bitch Playbook and split into three releases. Following being removed from tentative tracklists, it was ultimately abandoned until it was previewed during the VULTURES listening experience in Chicago on February 8, 2024. It was then played at the second experience in New York the next day.
