Baring tinges of sadness at the realisation that another triumphant festival season was about to draw to a close, we headed on down to the birth of a brand new UK festival - OnBlackheath
And what a fantastic curtain-raiser it turned out to be. With performances by the likes of headliners Massive Attack and Frank Turner, the newly Mercury Prize-nominated Young Fathers, the new wave of British rock bands in the form of TOY, Charlie Boyer and the Voyeurs as well as the experienced class of Grace Jones, the South-East London event had it all.
Our photographer Nathan Greenwood headed down to capture the magic in action. Scroll through the photo viewer below to get a taste of OnBlackheath.
